My Bio
I live in the beautiful tourist city of Traverse City, on Grand Traverse bay, northwest Michigan. I've lived here all my life, and I love it. My artistic talents include self taught everything, since I can't keep a deadline or a second party specified task to save my life. ever since I could sketch a stickman, I've been drawing, mostly dragons, but recently I've been trying to hone my skills at portraits. I love the outdoors, and I would love to be able to render them adequately on a sheet of paper. I'm eighteen, and I believe that anything worth doing is worth taking time to do. Anything worth being is worth the time to discover. Anything worth seeing is worth the time to unveil.

You see, she and I met more than a year ago, but, as per my luck, have been unable to see each other since, despite my desperate wishes. I live here, in cold and bitter Northern Michigan, and she in California. I suppose this drawing was a way for me to feel close to her again. Now that it's done, there's nothing l

Sometimes deep thoughts one has stem from the shallowest endeavors. Sometimes they can only be revealed through such. The thoughts worthy of a journal should be insights, but not all insights need to come from time long spent in deep introspection. For example; today I was looking for an idea for graphics on my custom longboard. I browsed into the tattoo design section and I saw a koi fish and lily sketch. It was nice, and I liked the idea of incorporating it into my graphic. I thought I ought to know a little about koi if I was going to use them in my design, so I looked at the artist's comment on the piece, and it told me that koi ancient
